We are seeking a skilled and resourceful mechanic to maintain and service the refrigeration systems of our truck fleet. Our tanks, used for transporting liquid and chemical substances, require precise temperature control through custom-built cooling and heating systems. These systems, designed by the previous owner, come without manuals, requiring a problem-solving approach to maintenance and repair. You will collaborate with a knowledgeable colleague based in Rotterdam for two days a week for training and shadow experienced colleagues for the remainder of the week to gain practical knowledge.
Your responsibilities include the following:
Performing regular maintenance and repairs on the electrical truck refrigeration systems; Troubleshooting and resolving issues with cooling and heating elements of the tanks; Adapting to working with custom-built systems with limited documentation; Following strict safety protocols due to the nature of the substances being transported; Working towards becoming an independent and reliable member of the maintenance team quickly.
Do you have welding experience that can enhance our maintenance team? Are you skilled with PLC systems, bringing an extra edge to our technical capabilities? Can you solve complex problems and think critically under pressure to ensure smooth operations? Do you learn quickly and adapt to new challenges with ease? Are you a proactive and independent worker ready to take on new systems and challenges swiftly? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a strong focus on safety and quality in your work? You have an extensive experience in electromechanics, HVAC and refrigeration techniques. Experience with welding would be a plus. Experience with PLC would be a plus.
You have a technical education in electromechanics, HVAC, refrigeration techniques or similar direction.
Communicative English skills are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in. If you also speak Polish that would be a plus.

We offer a long term position in a large, stable company:
You work 38 hours a week; You are paid weekly; You have mealvouchers of €5/worked day of which you pay €1.09, that gradually become mealvouchers of €8/worked day after 3 years.; The gross hourly salary is €19.5715; You work in the day shift, from 7:30-15:30, with the possibility to transfer to a two-shift system after a while; Overtime is possible, this is paid at 150%.
