Production worker - job in Belgum
What will you do
Due to government rules, this job is only open to people with an EU nationality.
At our client they focus on primary processing of fresh salmon and our factory is the central/international inbound hub for fresh fish from Belgium, North & Northwest Europe & overseas areas. We mainly process whole fish (salmonids), which we fillet and pack. Our products are distributed in Belgium, Austria & neighbouring countries.
They are a member ofan internationally active group of companies that specialises in fish and seafood and operates its own production facilities in Belgium and Austria.
As a production worker you will be starting on the position to debone the salmon. Afterwards, you will learn all the different production positions, like machine operating.
You will be working in a nice and new environment which is cleaned on daily basis.
Usually, work starts a 6am but it can happen transport is delayed and you will start later in the morning, flexibility is key!
As atmosphere is important, our client would like to hire cheerful personalities with good motivation not afraid to work in fish industry.
What are your skills
You are open to work with fresh fish, flexible to learn the different positions withing the production and flexible in working hours as this may vary due to delivery by trucks.
What is your experience
A first experience in a production environment is an asset.
What is your education level
No specific education is required.
Language expectations
Communicative English skills are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in.
