Our client is a big department in Belgium about 20 kilometres from Antwerp. In this site they store granulate (plastic granules in 25 kg bags, sometimes also half a ton or more).
At our client, we are seeking passionate individuals to join our team as Forklift pros. We are looking for responsible and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work. At our client, safety is a guiding principle, especially when handling chemical substances. As a forklift driver, you play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods both indoors and outdoors, rain or shine. If the weather takes a turn for the worse, your safety comes first, and you are not allowed to drive the forklift.
Your responsibilities include the following:
Performing duties as forklift driver; Manoeuvring goods with a heftruck; Loading and unloading the trucks and containers; Keeping a watchful eye over products, orders, and stock to maintain control; Handling broken bags (25kg) and replenishing the pallets; Taking charge of cleaning up any damaged goods, ensuring our workspace is always clean and safe.

Do you possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team? Are you physically fit and capable of lifting and moving heavy objects? Can you adapt to working in various weather conditions, with a keen awareness of safety protocols? Then this might be the job for you!
What is your experience
You have at least 3 years of experience as a warehouse worker and 1 years as a fulltime forklift driver.

Language expectations
Communicative English skills are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in.

We offer a long term position in an international, growing company:
You work 38 hours a week; You are paid weekly; You have mealvouchers of €6.70/day of which you pay €1.09; The gross hourly starting salary is between €16.86; You work in three shifts from 6:00-14:00, from 14:00-22:00 and from 22:00-6:00; There is a shift allowance of +5% for the early shift, +15% for the late shift and +50% for the night shift; Overtime is possible, this is paid at 150%.
