At our client they help logistics companies with a (temporary) shortage of qualified personnel. They also have the knowledge to assist you with specific issues such as customs warehouse, IT sourcing & warehousing and warehouse relocations.
The customer is one of the largest Logistic Companies in the world and also one of the biggest in Belgium. Already today they have several large logistic warehouses in Belgium and are now opening a new one in the region of Flanders. Due to taking over this business from another company, it is impossible to reveal the name and details of the full operation to our suppliers and our candidates. The operation will be a standard logistical warehouse environment.
We are seeking a detail-oriented High level orderpicker to join our team. You will be responsible for operating high-level order picking machinery to efficiently and accurately retrieve products from elevated storage areas. Your role is crucial in maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring timely order fulfillment.
Your responsibilities include the following:
Safely and efficiently operating high-level order picking equipment to retrieve and move products from elevated storage locations; Accurately picking products according to order specifications, ensuring timely and precise order completion; Monitoring and recording inventory levels, scanning and updating systems to maintain accurate stock records; Adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues; Working collaboratively with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and effective communication.
What are your skills
Do you have excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order picking? Are you well-versed in inventory management systems and processes? Are you committed to safety and capable of following strict safety protocols? Do you have the physical stamina to work at heights and lift/move heavy objects? Do you hold a valid certification for operating high-level order picking machinery? Then this might be the job for you!
What is your experience
You have at least one year of experience as a warehouse worker or a similar position.
What is your education level
No specific education is required for this job.
Language expectations
Communicative English skills are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in.
What our client offers
We offer a temporary job until August with the possibility to be moved to another project:
You work 38 hours a week; You are paid weekly; You have mealvouchers of €6/day of which you pay €1.09; The gross hourly salary is €15.4232; You work in the day shift from 7:00-15:30; The shift bonus is +20%; Overtime happens on occasion; Overtime is paid at 150%.
