Our client is looking for technicians to deal with faults. As a breakdown technician you have an electromechanical background where the E-part takes the upper hand. You are responsible for the execution of the technical maintenance of installations and machines in order to guarantee an optimal production process.
Your responsibilities include the following:
Continuously supporting the production department in resolving malfunctions safely, thoughtfully and quickly to keep the machines running at all times; Working preventively and avoiding malfunctions by giving our machines timely maintenance; Building up and adjusting our machines (according to procedures) in order to be able to produce different types of ice creams; Helping to execute shutdowns and taking charge of E-changes; Adjusting electrical and running schemes and keep them up to date; Working with the E&I engineer on innovative projects to optimize the machinery; Meticulously preparing technical reports; Independently developing, integrating and documenting projects.

You have a first experience as a technician in a production environment, ideally food production. You have experience working with frequency drives, servo techniques and sensors. You have an extensive knowledge of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics and pneumatics. You have a practical knowledge of PLC and automation processes. You know how to use a megger and you know the difference between a thermocouple and a PT100.
You have a technical education in electromechanics or automation.
Communicative English skills are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in.

We offer a long term position in a familiar company:
You work 37.5 hours a week; You are paid weekly; You have mealvouchers of €8/day of which you pay €1.09; The gross hourly salary is between €18 and €21, depending on your experience; You work in the permanent night shift; There is a shift allowance of +€2.40.
