Gardec is looking for a CE driver to strengthen their team in Brugge. You will be part of a team in charge of transportation, as well as crane work. If you do not yet hold a crane certificate/experience as a crane operator, you will be trained for this. You do not only drive but also set up the crane. This means that you will not do long drives. A big part of the job is also the physical work of the crane.
Your responsibilities include the following:
• Setting up the telescopic crane, this in close consultation with colleagues on site.
• Operating the telescopic crane.
• Controlling the docking of the load.
• You are the signboard of the company.

You have a couple of years of experience as a driver.
What is your education level
No specific education is required for this job. We are looking for people with a hands-on mentality.
Language expectations
Communicative English skills at a B2-C1 level are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in.
What our client offers
• You work 38 hours a week, but are willing to do 7-12 hours of overtime every week (paid at 150% or as a compensation day).
• The gross hourly starting salary is between €17 and €20, depending on your experience. This is negotiable.
• The shift hours are 8:00-16:30 from monday to thursday. Friday you work from 8:00 to 14:30.
• You are paid monthly.
• A lot of extralegal benefits like hospitalisation insurance, and a phone if this is requested.
