What will you do

Iris is looking for Project Coordinators to work on their long-term project in Antwerp. The are looking for people with supervising experience to join their team of Project Coordinators to deliver and guide qualitative projects. Responsibilities: • You report to the project manager. • You lead a team of workers and motivate them to perform the work within the assigned quality and safety standards. • You are the point of contact for our clients, and ensure good and correct communication between the client and the Project Manager. o You are the direct contact person on site o You have to solve problems when they occur. o Adjust planning and work proactively when necessary. o Handle questions of the client. • You are responsible for complying with the quality, safety, health and environmental policy (HSE) on our site, and make the necessary decisions in this respect. o You engage in conversations about possible improvements. o If the safety standards are not respected, you communicate this with your team and explain them how to do it. • You ensure that the equipment and installations are respected. • You ensure good reporting to the Project Manager and keep him informed of possible contract extensions, possible problem situations, etc... • You are responsible for the personnel planning of your team in consultation with your colleagues. • Finally, you take care of part of the site administration. o What has to be done onsite? o Which materials have to be ordered? o Communicate with partners about equipment. o Acquire the necessary permits. o Measure and report.

You have a good knowledge of the MS Office tools. You have at least 5 years of experience working in the industrial and/or construction sector in a leading role.

You have a technical education.

Language expectations

Communicative English language skills at a B2-C1 level are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in. French and Romanian are an asset.

What our client offers

• You work 40 hours a week. • The gross monthly salary is between €4000 and €5000, depending on your experience. • Your average monthly net salary is between €2500-€3000. • The shift hours are 8:00-17:00. • You have mealvouchers of €7.75/day of which you pay €1.09. • You are paid monthly. • A lot of extralegal benefits like hospitalisation insurance, group insurance, pension insurance, a company car and fuel card, a phone and computer, and a yearly bonus.
