This warehouse specifically makes and stores various technical products, going from bolts, seals, flanges, cotter pins, to roller gauges, cutter blades, drills, welding materials, chain, hoists etc. All elements used in the metal sector. These are products you do not come across every day.

To present yourself fot thi s position means that you are a certified stainless steel and carbon steel welder and are willing to work abroad. First month you will work in Belgium, afterwards you will be send project based to different clients in Europe. Having a good vision and good concentration as well as stable coordination of movements during welding is an absolute must. It is important to master different welding joint designs (V, X, Y - joint), recognize welding defects and properly estimate their gradation. Together with your team you will be responsible for the MAG (135) welding onsite at clients, in all positions, thickness of 3 mm to 20 mm in butt weld (BW) and fillet weld (FW). You have a sound knowledge of photo welding (according to a Welding Procedure Specification - WPS). All welds are 100% RT or UT examined.
Important to know is that you will start by performing a welding test, if passed succesfully you will receive a contract and can start work.
What are your skills
Do you have a first experience in a technical environment, preferably experience in the metal sector? Do you have a strong interest in the metal sector and all kinds of technical materials? Do you have a hands-on mentality and a sound knowledge of welding MAG (135) BW and FW joints with a thickness range of 3mm – 20mm? Experience with GTAW (141), FCAW (136) welding on stainless steel and/or carbon steel is a plus. Do you want to learn more about all the products you work with? Are you not afraid of physical work? Do you have a good knowledge and understanding of logistics and warehouse processes? Are you punctual and have an eye for order and tidiness? Can you identify with the core values of our company?
What is your experience
You have a first similar experience in the metal sector or in a technical warehouse.
What is your education level
Technical education with valid welding certificates for MAG (135) for BW and FW joints with a thickness range of 3mm – 20mm.
Language expectations
A communicative level of English, French or Dutch is needed.

Engicon offers a possibility to negotiate your gross salary based on your experiece. The weekly net salary estimation for a gross salary of €17.5 is between +- 620€ for a 40 hour week, +- 707€ for a 45 hour week. The weekly net salary estimation for a gross salary of €18.56 is between +- 647€ for a 40 hour week, +- 739€ for a 45 hour week.
