Alphaplan is looking for strong electromechanical operators who are willing to travel all around the world. Your clients will be mainly in Europe and Asia. This means you will be abroad for 1.5 to 2 weeks a month. Your time will be divided as followed:
4 months a year abroad; 4 months working in the workshop in Belgium; 4 months of recuperation from overtime during your missions abroad.
Your responsibilities include the following:
Setting up the machine at the clients; Operating the machine at the clients; Fixing malfunctions in the machine; Disassembling the machine when ready; You inform the client on the progress. You are the main contact person onsite; Perform maintenance work and improvements to the machine when back in the workshop.
What are your skills
Can you diagnose mechanical and electrical problems/damage? Can you replace electrical and mechanical parts? Do safety regulations and maintenance instructions come naturally to you? Are you a team player? Can you work independently and responsibly? Do you have strong communicative skills? Then this might be the job for you!
What is your experience
Work experience is not required for this position. You have a strong mechanical knowledge with a good electrical base. You will work together with experienced colleagues who will provide intensive training to ensure that you have the necessary knowledge and tools to stand confidently in your position!
What is your education level
You have a bachelor degree in electromechanics, mechanics or car mechanics.
Language expectations
Communicative English skills are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in.

We offer a variation between workshop and fieldwork, where we expect high quality from our employees, but also offer nice conditions in return:
You work 40 hours a week; You are paid weekly; You have mealvouchers of €5/day of which you pay €1.09; The gross hourly starting salary is between €17.20 and €19, depending on your experience. This is negotiable after a positive evaluation; You have an allowance for project work; The shift hours in the workshop are day hours. Project work abroad has the possibility of weekend and night work; There is a shift allowance of +50% for night shifts; Overtime on Saturday is +150%, and overtime on Sunday is +200%; A lot of extralegal benefits once you have your fixed contract like hospitalisation insurance, group insurance, phone and subscription and eco vouchers.
