Responsible and fair product

Our client produces exclusively under private label. This means that we do not carry our own brands and focus entirely on the development and production process. Our products
Our client's puffed rice, corn, and multigrain wafers are made from honest and pure ingredients and are sold worldwide to different target audiences. There are many flavors and varieties. For example, you can find organic, Fair Trade, UTZ, kosher or halal products.
To guarantee the quality of our products, we have a wide range of internationally recognized certificates, proving that we meet the highest quality and food safety requirements.
To be certified, strict requirements must be met, which are monitored during announced and unannounced inspections. Thus, our production facilities must constantly meet the highest standards and our employees must be able to demonstrate adequate knowledge of the production process.
As an operator, you can be placed in different departments. According to your experience you can work as a baking operator, mixing operator, chocolate operator or coating operator. Common responsibilities include working according to the quality standards and making sure that your workstation is always neat and tidy. The main goals are: quality, sufficiency, safety and cleanliness.
Your responsibilities for each position include the following:
As a Baking operator your responsibilities are working on the production line and making sure that as many perfect rice cakes as possible are produced; setting up and operating the machines independently, taking into account pressure, temperature and baking time, among other things.
As a Mixing operator your responsibilities are creating the grain mixtures for the various types of waffles; ensuring that these mixes end up on the correct production lines.
As a Chocolate operator your responsibilities are ensuring the delivery of high-quality chocolate wafers; operating as a baking operator while overseeing the entire chocolate production process; a range of responsibilities like crafting various chocolate mixes to managing the operation of chocolate machines.
As a Coating operator your responsibilities are ensuring the delivery of quality coated waffles (from savory to sweet); ensuring that the puffed wafers are covered with a water or oil based coating; creating various coating mixtures and ensuring that they are added to the wafers through various processes.

What is your experience
You have several years of experience as a machine operator in the food production industry. You have technical insight and are proficient in computers. You are able to independently set your machine, perform quality control, make adjustments when necessary and solve minor technical issues.
What is your education level
No specific education is required for this job. An education in food would be a plus.
Language expectations
Highly communicative English skills are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in. You are willing to learn Dutch.

We offer a long term position in a stable company:
You work 40 hours a week; You are paid weekly; The gross hourly starting salary is €16.91317; You have mealvouchers of €8/day of which you pay €1.09; You work in two shifts from 6:00-14:00 and from 14:00-22:00 or in the permanent night shift from 22:00 to 6:00; There is a shift allowance of +€0.7703/h for the alternating early/late shift and +€3.3372/h for the permanent night shift; Overtime is possible, this is paid at 150%; In addition, our client organizes Dutch classes.
