Depoortere is a family business that will celebrate our 100th anniversary in 2025! We are specialized in the design and manufacture of harvesting, processing and scutching machines for flax. Thanks to our expertise, we can now apply the latest technologies to the development of machines for harvesting and processing other natural fibers (including hemp and kenaf). At our locations in Beveren-Leie and Tielt, we have an experienced drawing office, a modern workshop with recent machinery and employees with extensive knowledge of natural fibers. Your new challenge is to independently produce the parts for our flax (harvest) machines. We have different lathes, so you can really enjoy yourself. Don't know everything yet? No problem, we are happy to teach you.
On the basis of technical drawings, you contribute ideas to make the production of the parts as efficient and qualitative as possible. You determine the different processing phases, select the right tools and program the machine independently.
You have completed a mechanical design training, followed by practical experience. Technical drawings hold few secrets for you. You preferably have knowledge of the operating systems Heidenhain and Mazatrol.
What are your skills
Are you a pro in the field of mechanical tools, materials and design techniques? Can you operate a CNC? Do you like to work result-oriented and qualitatively?
What is your experience
A couple of years of experience as a CNC turner-programmer.
What is your education level
You have to be technically educated.
Language expectations
Communicative English is required for this job.
