We produce private label ice cream for the Belgian and European market, for food service, home service, retail and brands.
During a summer day we produce: 1.500.000 ice creams per day = 260.000.000 ice creams per year by real people, for real people !
Our ice creams may be produced by a state-of-the-art machine park, but they are created and filled by real people. You will always recognise the drive and commitment of our employees in them.
Jacques Ice is looking for technicians to deal with faults. As a breakdown technician you have an electromechanical background where the E-part takes the upper hand. You are responsible for the execution of the technical maintenance of installations and machines in order to guarantee an optimal production process.
The most important part of your job is that in case of a malfunction, you can act safely, thoughtfully and quickly to get the machines running again. As a technician you work preventively and avoid malfunctions by giving the machines timely maintenance. You will be responsible for building up and adjusting the machines (according to procedures) in order to be able to produce different types of ice creams. As a technician you will always have a certain field of interest in which you are the specialist. It seems logical that you will get projects to grow as a specialist.
What are your skills

What is your experience
You have already held a megger and you know the difference between a thermocouple and a PT100.
You have an interest in technique and you are open to learn new things every day.
You already have experience in a production environment and if that is within the food industry you are a real winner. You have extensive knowledge of electricity, mechanics, PLC and automation processes.
What is your education level
You followed preferably an education in electromechanics but you know especially what a frequency drive does.
Language expectations
You speak good level of English.
What our client offers
We offer the salary of 15.5-18€ gross per hour, depending on your experience. You work 37.5 hours per week in 2-shifts or fixed night. After 65 worked days, you will also receive 8€ meal vouchers. Overtime is possible and it's paid 150%.
