What will you do

FMA Services is looking for an Instrumentation - Measurement and Control Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and measurement/control faults, conducting periodic tests, performing preventive and curative maintenance, and implementing machine improvements. You'll also participate in projects and shutdown preparations, analyze technical documents, and work with various measurement devices and communication protocols. A technical degree or equivalent experience, a few years of I&C experience, and VCA certification (or willingness to obtain) are required. Communicative English skills are essential.

FMA Services is looking for a technician to strengthen their team. As an Instrumentation - Measurement and Control Technician, you are responsible for the work from A to Z. Your responsibilities include the following: Solving electrical and measurement and control faults (error detection, measuring signals, calibrating transmitters, signal transmitters (4-20mA, 0-10V)); Performing periodic legal tests; Pre-commissioning of all installations; Providing preventive & curative maintenance on various machines; Implementing changes and improvements to the machines; Participating in projects and preparations for shutdowns; Closely following the relevant technical developments for your professional domain; You are able to analyze and thoroughly interpret technical documents; Processing technical reports, work preparations and material reservations in SAP; Connecting and disconnecting instrumentation and actuators (electrical, pneumatic); Assembly, disassembly and adjustment of instrumentation; Adjusting and testing of valves.

What is your experience

You have a few years of experience in a similar position in the I&C domain. You have experience and knowledge in the field of process automation. You have experience with all types of communication protocols (e.g. Profibus). You have experience a diverse range of measuring devices (pressure, temperature, flow, analysis etc.). You have a basic knowledge of electricity related to measurement & control technology (AC/DC power supplies, electrical signals 110V, 4-20mA, 1-10V, earth potential etc.).

What is your education level

You have a technical degree or equivalent by experience.

Communicative English skills are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in.
