On of their biggest clients is Mediamarkt, a large multimedia chain in Belgium. We stock all the products that you can purchase both in-store and via our webshop. Due to our expansion, we are looking for experienced reach truck drivers who hold an external certificate.
As a Reachtruck driver, you will play a crucial role in our logistics and warehouse operations. You will be responsible for the efficient handling, storage, and movement of Mediamarkt products within our facility. Your precision and attention to detail will ensure that our products are correctly stored and ready for distribution.
Your responsibilities include the following:
Attending toolbox meetings at the beginning of the day; Distributing loads across different areas of the location, such as the production chain and the picking zone; Moving loads using a reachtruck of the brand Jungheinrich; Moving your reachtruck in the correct charging station at the end of the day, and you make sure it is charged; Selecting and preparing the appropriate material handling equipment based on the characteristics of the products and the conditions; Placing goods in designated storage areas; Correctly badging your hours and the clients you worked on; Correctly reporting to your teamleader, supervisor and operations manager; Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
What are your skills
Do you hold a valid reach truck certificate and are ready to put it to use? Are you willing to work 50/50 on the reachtruck and doing other logistical tasks related to picking? Are you available to work on an exciting project during the summer season until the end of October, with the potential for extension? Can you seamlessly switch between working independently and collaborating with a team? Are you skilled in operating a reach truck safely and efficiently? Are you capable of efficiently managing and processing a high volume of products? Then this might be the job for you!
What is your experience
You have a couple of years of experience in logistics as a reachtruck driver.
What is your education level
No specific education is required for this job.
Language expectations
Communicative English skills are required for this job, this is the language you will communicate in.

We offer a position for at least three months, starting on 22/07:
You work 38 hours a week; You are paid weekly; The gross hourly salary is €15.8765; You have mealvouchers of €5.50/day of which you pay €1.09; You work in two shifts from 7:15-15:15 and from 15:30-23:30; There is a shift allowance of +7.5%; Overtime is possible, this is paid at 150%.
