Technical warehouse worker (m/f/x) - Job in Belgium

What will you do

As a Warehouse worker, you will collaborate with your colleagues to perform various warehouse tasks, such as receiving, storing, and shipping goods, products, and raw materials at our central warehouse in Harelbeke. Your role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. You will spend about 75% of your time order picking and 5-10% driving a forklift. Training will be provided if needed. Your responsibilities include the following: Counting and visually inspect incoming goods, ensuring you can recognize all technical products; Accurately entering incoming goods into the system; Properly storing incoming goods in the warehouse; Checking out goods based on order lists from Engineering, Foremen on-site, Workplace staff; Following regulations and procedures for quality control, stocking, counting, and ensure proper administrative processing of receipts; Paying attention to safety, environmental standards, order, and ergonomics within the warehouse; Reporting directly to the Warehouse Team Leader.

What are your skills

Do you have a first warehouse experience in a technical environment, preferably experience in the metal sector? Do you have a strong interest in the metal sector and all kinds of technical materials? Do you have a hands-on mentality and a sound knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics is a plus)? Do you want to learn more about all the products you work with? Are you not afraid of physical work? Do you have a good knowledge and understanding of logistics and warehouse processes? Are you punctual and have an eye for order and tidiness? What is your experience

You have a first experience in a warehouse, preferably also in the technical or metal industry.

What is your education level

You have a technical education, ideally you have a background in welding or another metal-related direction.

Language expectations

Communicative English, French, or Dutch skills are required for this job, these are the languages you will communicate in.
