The goal of Katoen Natie is to make all terminals globally energy-independent. In order to do that, they are looking for a team to organize and follow up on this innovation for each terminal in each country. Your responsibility is to study, coordinate and implement new energy assets (solar panels, wind turbines, battery systems, energy efficiency etc., You are also responsible for the energy transition of Katoen Natie’s fleet.
Your responsibilities include the following:
- Project coordination from A to Z:
o Check the stability of the building.
o Follow up on the inspection of the project.
oPlanning of the project and permits.
oExecution of the project.
oFollow up on the construction of the project.
oMaintain general safety before and during the execution of the project.
oIdentify and repair damage.
oFollow up on certificates and permissions.
- Hand over the project to the asset manager.
- Follow up on different projects at the same time (also international).
What are your skills

What is your experience
You also have a basic knowledge of all the Office 365-tools. Knowledge of Autocad is a plus but not a requirement.
What is your education level
You have an engineering degree (civil or industrial), with an affinity for electricity.
Language expectations
Communicative English language skills at a B2-C1 level are required for this job; especially technical English is important. Other languages are a plus, Katoen Natie has terminals all over the world.

- You have to be willing to travel abroad for short periods of tme. Katoen Natie is flexible, it is also a possibility to work in a terminal in your home country. Only the training would be in Belgium. It is also possible to work on a project abroad for a couple of years.
- Your salary is negotiable depending on experience, age, degree etc.
- You have mealvouchers of €8 per worked day.

- You have a company car and fuel card, also for private use. You will drive a Volkswagen or Mercedes.
