What will you do

As a maintenance technician, you will contribute daily to the good condition of all our installations in our warehouse. • Preventive maintenance is an important daily task. In addition, you track malfunctions, you analyse the reason after which you carry out the necessary repair work. • You have an open eye for improvements and make recommendations to your Manager. WHAT WILL YOU DO? • You are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the installations in our warehouse (Mini load, conveyors, converters, wrapping machines, inline printers, etc.). • Both preventive maintenance and essential troubleshooting are part of your responsibilities. of malfunctions belong to your tasks. To do so, you base yourself on plans, diagrams or documents of the manufacturer. Preventive maintenance is the routine maintenance of different assets, equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operations and reduce any unplanned equipment failures. Examples: installing new bearings, checking and adjusting belt tension/tracking. Cleaning return stations of conveyor belts. Checking and adjusting sensors, motors, Frequency drives, barcode scanners, distance measurements sensors, in line scales, in line printers, profiling sensors, motor brakes, Automatic storage and retrieval systems (ASRS mini loads), … Troubleshooting: ? Mechanical problems: Broken rollers, bearings, motors, brakes, … ? Pneumatic problems: Broken non return valves, broken 3/2 & 5/3 valves, leaks, … ? Electric problems: Overcurrent issues, Broken relays, broken contactors, Broken remote I/O modules, Step motors, ... ? Soft starter issues, frequency drive issues, DC motors, AC motors, Motor controllers. ASI Bus issues, Profibus Issues, Wireless Profibus, Drive rollers, … ? Equipment issues: In line barcode scanner adjustments, Profiling sensor error handling, distance measuring sensors faultfinding, In line printer issues ? Carton erectors error handling, ? WCS problems: Monitoring the Warehouse control software and report issues to external company. Support the external company in fixing the logistic flow software issues. • You keep the diagrams and documentation up to date. • You participate in the improvement of installations that contribute to process improvement or the comfort of our operators. We keep track on the most frequent errors and the biggest downtime errors. We want to avoid these by improving the systems. By making small changes in the electromechanical systems, we want to eliminate as many errors as possible. For example: By installing a secondary sensor we can eliminate loose taping triggering our sensors unintentionally. A tape will only trigger one sensor and a box will trigger 2 and so avoid specific machine errors. Be able to make electrical changes in electrical switchboard up till 400VAC. Be able to connect new sensors to a PLC (electric). Be able to install and commission a soft starter and frequency convertor. • You participate in the implementation and start-up of installations and/or machines: (electrical) switch boxes, PLC controls, electromechanical drives, etc.) All PLC’s are Siemens: Simatic S7, CPU 300 and CPU 400, TIA portal, CPU 1200 and CPU 1500. Being able to go online and finding their way in an STL program to find the root cause of an error is very interesting. Being able to make small program changes to improve how our machines work (for example adding extra sensor). Be able to install and commission a soft starter and frequency convertor. And understand the errors the occur in these components. (example DC Link overvoltage) • You provide technical assistance to operators. • You report to the Maintenance Manager and work closely with the Maintenance engineer , production supervisors, Machine operators and other technicians

What are your skills

• You have at least 3 years' experience in a maintenance department of an automated company. • You have a good knowledge of electromechanics. Knowledge of PLC and/or frequency controls. • You are communicative and analytically strong. • You can function well both independently and in a team. • You have general PC knowledge (e-mail, internet, ...) and a strong knowledge of word/excel. • You can work safely and have no problem working at heights (Max. +/-25 meters). • You like working in shifts (Mon-Do: 6am-14pm / 2pm-22pm; Fri: 6am-13pm / 1pm-20pm) • You don't have a fear of heights. Some repairs take place at a height of 12 metres, in the future they will be at a height of 20 metres

You express yourself fluently in English (minimum B2 level).
