What will you do
Be Food is a modern and fast-growing food company with sites in Bruges and Herk-de-Stad. They produce fresh salad spreads and catering preparations for supermarkets, butchers and caterers.
Be Food is looking for warehouse workers!
As a warehouse worker at Be Food, you have a varied job and you can work at different locations:
Receipt of food and non-food articles and raw materials, whereby you also ensure that all goods are correctly received in the ERP system.
You ensure that all goods are put away and registered in the right place: for this you use a scanning system and you can handle a stacker or forklift truck.
You ensure that the production departments are supplied with the right packaging.
You help with loading (and unloading) the trucks.
The freezer stockers are responsible for putting away and picking goods in the freezer.
You keep the freezer in order.
Naturally, appropriate clothing and a special premium are provided for those who work as freezer stockers.
Please note that the warehouse staff also do a lot of manual work, so this is not a job in which you constantly use a forklift truck or stacker.
What are your skills
You can handle a forklift or a stacker: you have experience with this or you can provide the necessary certificates.
You are willing to learn to work with an ERP (computer) system.
If you already have experience with such systems, this is a big plus.
You attach great importance to safety
You have an eye for quality
You are neat and tidy: Be Food does not allow gel nails, excessive make-up, visible piercings etc. in their production.
You don't mind working in a cold environment (0-4*)
If you are applying as a frozen food storeman, then you do not mind working in frozen temperatures (-25*).
What is your experience
We are looking for candidates with several years of relevant work experience in a logistics environment.
Experience in the food industry is a plus.
